Our exchange with our sister club, DJK Adler Reimke, of Bochum, will be held in Germany, Easter 2017.
The trip is the jewel in the Wisewood crown and open to all players from all age groups.
The trip will be as scheduled,
Travel to Hull via coach Thursday evening, travel overnight on the ferry to Rotterdam, where a further coach will take us to Bochum. Stay 3 nights (English children in pairs, with German host families) any parents also travelling will stay at a hotel in Bochum. Travel back the same way.
The itinerary will be set by Adler Reimke, but is set to be one of the best for a number of visits. It will always involve the much loved England vs Germany games, where you will line up have your nations flag hoisted as ‘God Saves the Queen’ is played. A truly unique experience. Note these games are for fun, involve mixed age groups and you do not have to be your teams best player, for fear of letting the club / country down, just a desire to get involved with the German hosts and have some fun.
The dates will be departing around 3pm Thursday 13 April, returning 11am Tuesday 18 April 2017, in Sheffield.
Costings are not exact at this time, but are expected to be £130 for children and £230 for adults.
The costs include, all coaches in England and the Continent, return overnight ferry in a cabin and hotel costs, B&B basis.
First allocations will be given to the host families in Sheffield, this Easter. Please get in touch with Brian Smith 07772 746956, or David Warwick – 07912 884 160, to book a place, or gain further information.
NOTE – THERE WILL BE A CLOSE TO FINALISE THE NUMBERS OF 31 OCTOBER 2016. PLEASE DO NOT DELAY AND MISS OUT, BOOK EARLY. THIS IS A TRIP NOT TO BE MISSED.
